The “LTTpro Power Analyzer” software option specially developed for the LTTsmart offers high-performance electrical power measurement that is perfectly designed for modern electric drives at varying speeds. The LTTsmart uses highly optimized algorithms to determine and display the exact rotation cycles even from very noisy phase current sine curves. In addition to all the usual power characteristics (RMS values, reactive/apparent/active power, power factors, speed, efficiency, etc.), the distortion (THD = total harmonic distortion) of all phase currents and voltages is also continuously determined and displayed. Calculations on a half-cycle basis and averaging over several cycles are also possible.
The parallel display of raw data and calculated Power Analyzer data immediately reveals the causes behind any anomalies in the key performance indicators.
At the push of a button or via configurable trigger events, entire raw data time windows can be saved together with the associated calculated Power Analyzer key figures with turn-by-turn accuracy, while the continuous power calculation simply continues to run.
The compact LTTsmart systems can not only be operated in the test bench but also conveniently in the vehicle itself. In addition, the software can also display, analyze and forward previously recorded or emulated data, so that all requirements relating to driving cycles, vehicle testing, production monitoring, development and optimization are covered.
The LTT hardware and software package therefore offers an efficient solution for measuring the performance of an electric motor in the test field and in real use.

The display of the online math is independent of the display of the input signals and can be manipulated as required without changing the view of the analog data. Several cursor markers can be used to show defined individual values of the online math directly in the display or clearly for all channels in the channel view.

The LTT24 and LTTsmart are already equipped with LTTpro (without online mathematics) by the manufacturer for recording and processing the data when you purchase a new device.
A paid license is required for the online mathematics module. In the basic version, the most important functions such as integral FFT, FFT (10 different window functions, normalization and spectrum type selectable), histogram, RMS and smoothing (mean value) are available. Due to the highly modular structure of the online mathematics in LTTpro, individual customer adaptations are possible.
Online mathematics is now available in all versions of LTTpro 4 and is activated by importing the corresponding license.
