Process monitoring during grinding operations

Structure-borne sound sensors, which have a very high bandwidth, are used to monitor grinding processes.

There are all kinds of special measuring devices for such sensors. However, a flexible measuring device is usually required, which can not only be used for structure-borne sound sensors, but also covers a variety of other sensor connections, and fast and slow measuring channels should also be available. In general, software is needed to parameterize the hardware, display the measurement signals and save the data on the local hard disk.

The LTT24 precision measuring device meets exactly these requirements:
The high-precision analog inputs are sampled by a 24-bit AD converter with up to 4 MHz sampling rate per channel. Each measurement input can be individually configured via software to connect the following sensors or measurement signals: Volt, Current, Charge, ICP®/IEPE, Strain Gauge (full, half and quarter bridge), LVDT and Resistance measurement (including PT100, PT1000, etc.). In addition, the LTT24 can also sample pulse/counter signals at 832 MHz, for example to derive angular velocity, etc. from a rotary encoder. Data analysis can usually be covered by software packages such as MATLAB. Likewise, however, a software interface can also be provided via LTTpro if a custom data analysis is to be written.
